AHAVA Kingdom Ministries International was founded by Pastor Eton Cordis, a Guyanese national, and Evangelist Ingrid Xavier, a British-born citizen, both led by the hand of God during personal challenges. The ministry’s journey began with God calling Pastor Cordis and Evangelist Xavier to daily prayer and mutual support on WhatsApp. Evangelist Xavier had recently lost her husband, and at the same time, Pastor Cordis was facing his own struggles. In a beautiful reflection of Proverbs 17:17 – “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity” – they upheld one another in prayer, relying on God’s grace.
As time passed, their circle grew as friends and family joined their prayer meetings. With the increasing number of participants, the meetings shifted from WhatsApp to the Zoom platform, and their prayer sessions became known as “Church Without Walls.” It was during this season that God gave Evangelist Ingrid the name AHAVA Kingdom Ministries International, signifying the birth of the ministry.
The word Ahava, derived from Hebrew, means “love” – a perfect reflection of the ministry’s heart. As it says in 1 John 4:8, “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” AHAVA Kingdom Ministries strives to embody the divine love that God calls us to share with one another and the world.
Now, AHAVA Kingdom Ministries International is a thriving online congregation, gathering daily from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM EST on Zoom for fellowship and worship. On Saturdays, the ministry offers dedicated men’s and women’s sessions.
In keeping with its mission to serve globally, AHAVA Kingdom Ministries has been actively involved in outreach programs, including the Elohim Ahava initiative, which focuses on providing relief to children in underprivileged communities in Guyana. The vision, guided by Matthew 28:19 – “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations” – is to expand this ministry across the globe, bringing hope and love to all in need.
We invite you to join us as we continue to grow in God’s love and fulfill His purpose.
